Bread and Dripping........

Sometimes, making the simplest of things brings a smile …….….

Yesterday, I used my last amount of strong plain flour and was so pleased with the results which even impressed my husband!

This brought me back to Sunday lunches with my family….…Mum made an enormous lunch with fantastic roast beef, cauliflower cheese, fluffy roasted potatoes, massive Yorkshires but the best part of these lunches was the DRIPPING left in the roasting tin……….READY FOR LATER……….. with thinly sliced rare roast beef, plenty of dripping spread on a slice of bread with a good pinch of salt……..thanks Mum & Dad xx
